Over the years Vienna is a city the author has returned to time and again. What makes it so unique he outlines in a portrait of this resort on the Danube during a visit to mark his eightieth birthday.
Essentially, Returning to Vienna is about retracing one’s steps in surroundings deeply rooted in a rich and glorious past.
