Joern Karlipp, born in 1973 in Germany, is an example of how life sometimes takes unexpected turns. The path to writing was not clear to him from the beginning, but rather a product of chance, brought about by extraordinary circumstances. Joern had dreamed of writing a book for many years, a collection of his experiences and thoughts. But as so often in life, he simply lacked the time. The daily challenges and stress of everyday life left little room for creative expression. But then the turning point came: a long-term illness forced him to be inactive and finally gave him the opportunity to devote himself to his project of a lifetime. This is how Joern began working on his first book, which is titled "Oops New York, now Im coming!" In February 2012, he published this work, which reflects his impressions and experiences in the metropolis of New York. Just three months later, his second book "Mein Schutzengel im Dauerstress" was published, which deals with the challenges of life after a heart attack and stroke. In the same year, he also published "Delikat Datsche Rennpappe", in which he nostalgically looks back on his childhood experiences in the GDR. After a longer break, Jörn returned in 2024 with the book "Das Leben ist noch nicht zu Ende, Geschichten aus dem Seniorenheim" (Life is not yet over, stories from the retirement home). In this work, he gives insights into life in old age and sheds light with an empathetic pen on the stories and experiences of the people who live there. Joern's journey into the world of writing shows that it is never too late to realize one's dreams. Despite all the adversity, he has found his creative expression and published several books that captivate his readers and encourage them to reflect.
