Marseille, 1720. A city on the brink of hell.

When the merchant ship "Grand Saint Antoine" sails into the harbour from the Levant, she carries more than precious fabrics - she carries death itself. Within weeks, one of Europe's richest trading ports is transformed into a vast open grave. Officials deny what is undeniable. The powerful cover up what they cannot control.

A sweeping historical novel, The Plague in Marseille recounts the last great plague epidemic in Europe with gripping intensity and philosophical depth - a story of guilt, conspiracy, and the eternal question of whether humanity ever truly learns from its mistakes.

The plague did not come alone. It brought the truth with it.
