The Living Tree

The Living Tree is the second book in the Tree Books series, following The Tree of Mirrors. Where that first book followed the path of symbols - Tarot, mythology, Kabbalah, astrology - this one turns inward, towards the body itself: not as matter alone, but as a field of subtle organisation and unfolding life.

Across sixteen chapters, it moves through Samkhya and Ayurveda, the chakra system, Daoist body maps, meridians, sacred geometry, mudras, breathwork and pranayama, affirmation, Reiki, the elemental body, and sound healing with bowls and tuning forks - gathered, in a closing chapter, into the image that gives the book its name.

Each tradition offers its own map; none is complete alone, nor forced into agreement with the others. Yet each circles a shared intuition: that we are layered, unfinished, and capable of transformation at depths thought alone cannot reach.

Not a technical manual, though practice enters directly. Not an academic argument, though it draws on traditions of real depth. Offered as reflection and orientation.
