Transformation

Die Natur ist ein lebendiger Organismus, der auf das Verhalten der Menschen ihm gegenüber reagiert. Durch deren Verhalten ist die Erde in einen erbarmungswürdigen Zustand geraten. Obwohl er ein Teil von ihr ist, stellt er sich über sie. Er beutet sie aus und zerstört sie. Für die Probleme, die ihm dadurch entstehen, sucht der Mensch überwiegend technische und politische Lösungen. Solange er aber verkennt, dass es auch eine mentale Umweltverschmutzung gibt, und dass er sein Bewusstsein ändern muss, wird es keine Erfolge geben.
Der Zusammenhang von Mensch und Natur, Mensch und Welt, wurde schon immer gesehen: bei Naturvölkern, in Religionen, Künsten und Philosophien. Aber der moderne Mensch wähnt sich unabhängig.

Nature is a living organism that reacts to people's behaviour towards it. Their behaviour has made the earth in a pitiful state. Although he is part of it, he stands above it. He exploits it and destroys it. To solve the problems of our earth people are primarily looking for technical and political solutions. But as long as he fails to realise that there is also mental pollution and that he needs to change his mindset, there will be no success. The connection between man and nature, man and the world, has always been recognised: by native peoples, in religions, arts and philosophies. But modern man believes himself to be independent.
