Born in Hamburg and now living in Northern Germany, Ray Adam studied German literature, history, and computer science. After the turn of the millennium, he ran his own computer company for several years. His epic fantasy work "Schattenmächte" (Shadow Powers) began in 2008 as a trilogy of novels.
